Day 1: Arrival in Managua and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight in Managua.

Day 2: Managua-Leon. After breakfast, head towards Leon, the magnificent colonial city of the North of Nicaragua. Leon has some very old buildings, including colonial buildings and ruins, old churches, parks and streets. After the visit to the town, head to the San Jacinto Hot Water Springs and relax in the warm volcanic waters. Return and overnight in Leon.

Day 3 : León- Cerro Negro Alter breakfast, Tour to Cerro Negro Volcano. Cerro Negro is the youngest volcano in Nicaragua, with only 160 years. It is said that Cerro Negro will have an eruption soon. The volcano is situated overlooking the city of Leon, which he has covered in ashes in several occasions. Its name means black mountains, probably because of the pitch black volcanic sand and rocks that cover the entire cone. Although only 745 meters high, there are no shades and climbing up is hard. Cerro Negro is a unique volcano situated outside Managua. The youngest volcano in Nicaragua, it is a back sandy mountain. We will climb it all the way to the crater, where the visitor will enjoy an amazing view of the surroundings and the inside of the crater, with its steaming gas fumaroles. After the climb, we will walk or run down again, it is up to you. After the adventure, we will head back to the city of Leon Alter the delicious lunch, head back to Granada, the colonial city and seashore pearl of Lake Nicaragua. Afternoon and evening at leisure and overnight in Granada.

Day 4: Granada-Catarina- Laguna de Apoyo –Granada. Alter breakfasts, visit the Apoyo Lagoon, a beautiful lake situated in a former volcanic crater. Enjoy the surrounding nature and view. Hike through trails, enjoy the warm water, relax or read a book. Lunch in a beautiful lakeshore resort. After, return to Granada. Late afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight in Granada.

Day 5: Granada-Canopy Tour-Lago Nicaragua & Islets Granada. Breakfasts. In the morning, driven up by a tractor, we will visit the extinct Mombacho crater, from where the visitor can see Granada, Lake Nicaragua, the Islets and the beautiful surrounding scenery. After, we will discover the area, its wildlife and interesting vegetation. After a nice lunch on the shores of Lake Nicaragua, we will board a boat that will take us through a fascinating journey where we will discover the hundreds of Islets in Lake Nicaragua, actually inhabited by the Isleños. Nature, history and amazing scenery are the highlights of this tour. Return to Granada and time to relax or explore Granada e4ven more. Overnight in Granada.

Day 6: Granada-Masaya. Breakfasts. We will first visit the amazing Masaya Volcano and National Park, situated just a few minutes from the town of Masaya. Here, you can hike up to the San Fernando Crater, from where you can enjoy amazing panoramic views. From here we will visit the Museum, where the visitor can learn about the volcano’s history. After the volcano, we will visit the town of Masaya, famous for its handcrafts and artisans. Here, you will be able to buy souvenirs and authentic handcrafts made out of leather, wood, cloth, hammocks. After visiting the Catarina Lookout point, we will visit the town of San Juan de Oriente, famous for its artisans, its pottery and clay works. On the way back. Visit the famous white towns. Nandaime and the chain of Witch Villages are situated between Granada – Masaya. The Witch Villages receive this name because of the strong traditions, superstition and witchery that is present in these little villages. Other call them the white villages, because of the numerous homes in white colors. Return to Granada and time to relax or explore Granada even more. Overnight in Granada.

Day 7: Granada-Lake Nicaragua. Breakfasts. Tour the lake with your kayak. Explore the nature and the cozy and easy going lifestyle in this privileged region. Return. Day at leisure ofr optional activities. Overnight in Granada.

Day 8: Departure. Transfer to the airport to board your flights home of transfer to the border with Costa Rica in case of an extension into beautiful Costa Rica.
