7 Days and 6 Nights

DAY 1: Arrival. Transfer to the hotel in Managua. Welcome meeting. Afternoon and evening at leisure to spend time in the city of relax in your room. Overnight in Managua.

DAYS 2/3: Breakfasts. Visit the El Jaguar Nature Preserve . El Jaguar is a private project that combines agriculture and coffee plantations with forest and nature conservation. The abundance in wildlife here is very important. Explore the many trails and creeks of the preserve. Overnight in El Jaguar Nature Preserve.

DAY 4: Breakfasts. Transfer from El Jaguar to Selva Negra. Selva Negra is a famous hotel and nature preserve. Here, the evergreen cloud forest is home to many species of wildlife. Selva Negra is situated near Matagalpa. Here, you can explore the local nature in a 2 hour walk through the forest. After, departure to Montibelli Private Preserve and Lodging. Montibelli is yet another famous preserve. It is well know for its abundance in species of birds and other wildlife groups. Its forests are home to reptiles, mammals, insects and many types of plants and trees. Overnight in Montibelli.

DAY 5: Breakfasts. Early morning bird watching tour. Explore the trails and forest. After a delicious lunch, transfer to El Chocoyero National Park. El Chocoyero is well known for the abundance of a bird species. Other animal families that are abundant here are mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects. The species of plants and trees as well as orchids are also important for the conservation. After the guided walk, transfer to the colonial jewel and lakeshore city of Granada, situated south of Managua. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight in Granada.

DAY 6: Breakfasts. Early morning bird watching tour in the Mombacho Volcano Nature Preserve. This amazing park and volcano is situated overlooking the amazing Nicaragua Lake. In the afternoon, after lunch, transfer back to Granada. Spend time in the colonial streets discovering local attractions ort relax in a restaurant or in the hotel. By dawn, tour to Masaya Volcano and National Park. Watch the volcanic activity at night and if lucky, witness the arrival of many birds that sleep inside the volcanic caves. Overnight in Granada.

DAY 7: Breakfasts. Early morning departure to the airport. In case of a possible extension to Costa Rica, transfer to the border with Costa Rica. Departure. .
