Credit Cards are accepted in almost every establishment
in Nicaragua, while Travelers Checks are not.

U$ Dollars are usually accepted everywhere.
Transportation
Nicaragua has a very good transportation system.
This includes bus, taxi, train, ferry, boat,
car rental and domestic airlines.
Working
hours
The working schedule changes from public to
private sector. However, usually people start
working at 08:30 and finish around 4:30 or 5:00
P.M.
Electricity
The voltaje is of 110 V and 60 Hertz
Shopping
Shopping is safe in Nicaragua. You can shop
in Malls, stores, little street stands or closed
markets.

The Internet coverage is fairly well. You can
step into several Internet Café`s. The
telephone serviced is also very complete.
Restaurantes
There are many restaurants and little “
sodas “ in Nicaragua. In rural areas,
typical food dominates. However, in touristy
areas, the variety is good.
Hotels
Nicaragua currently has some very nice hotels,
with good service and many facilities. You can
find all inclusive beach resorts, small B&B`s,
Lodges, *,**,*** Star hotels and many more.
