The city of Leon is another
very important destination in Nicaragua. Its
neoclassical, gothic, baroc and colonial style
are unique in the area. Some of the most important
buildings are the Colegio de la Asunción
and the Catedral of La Asunción. Leon
has 16 churches, 11 of them built in colonial
times.
