Ometepe-Granada-Leon-Matagalpa
DAY 1: Arrival.
Meeting and assistance. Transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight
in Managua.
DAY 2: Managua
– Ometepe. Breakfasts. Departure early
in the morning towards Ometepe Island, situated
in Lake Nicaragua. First, transfer to San Jorge
port and from there by ferry to the island.
Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight
in Ometepe.
DAY 3: Ometepe. Day at leisure
for optional activities such as Maderas Volcano
tour, Concepción Volcano tour, swimming
in the beaches of the island, hiking, cultural
interest tours and many more. Overnight in Ometepe.
DAY 4: Ometepe – Granada.
Breakfasts. Transfer to San Jorge and from there
to Granada. On the way, visit the Masaya Volcano
and the market of Masaya, where many beautiful
handcrafts are being sold. Arrival in Granada
and time at leisure to explore this amazing
colonial jewel. Overnight in Granada.
DAY 5: Granada ( Days at leisure ).
Optional activities include canoeing, Ometepe,
Mombacho Volcano Tour, hiking, walking, Granada
Islets Tour, cultural interest tours and many
more. Overnight in Granada.
DAY 6: Granada
León – San Jacinto – León.
Breakfasts. Transfer north towards the enchanting
colonial city of Leon. On the ay, beautiful
views of Momotombo Volcano and Lake Managua.
Afternoon arrival and time at leisure to explore
or simple relax. Overnight in Leon.
DAY 7: Leon – Matagalpa.
Breakfasts. Departure north to the San Jacinto
Hot Water Springs. Hot Mud pools and steam coming
from the volcano Hill amaze you. Arrival in
Matagalpa and transfer to one of the closely
situated coffee plantations. Arrival, check
in and overnight in Matagalpa.
DAY 8: Matagalpa – Managua.
Breakfasts. Optional activities in the morning
and mid day departure towards Managua. Later
afternoon arrival and evening at leisure to
explore Leon and its colonial buildings. Overnight
in Leon.
DAY 9: Breakfasts.
Departure to the airport. In case of a possible
extension to Costa Rica, transfer to the border
and departure south.
